Green: The new Fall/Winter Color

According to Pantone and NYFW (New York Fashion week), fall/winter of 2021 is looking bright! Along with the usual neutral colors, we can now add some color to our wardrobe! YAY!

The top 10 fall/winter color trend are Fuschia, Mykonos Blue, Spring Lake, Leprechaun (my favorite), Illuminating, Rhodonite, Adobe, Pale Rosette, Root Beer and Fire Whirl. Let’s focus on this color Leprechaun (AKA Green).

3 ways you can introduce green into your fall wardrobe.

For some, introducing color comes second natural but for others, introducing a bold color like green can be a bit scary or overbearing. That is where I come in. I’m here to guide you on how to get over that fear. Let’s start with 3 tips/tricks to help you over come that fear.

1.       Start with a small accessory.

Earrings, handbags, scarfs and bracelets can give you that pop of color but not dominate your look. These small accessories are minimal enough to not completely take away from your look but rather compliment your total look. When searching online or in store for that minimal accessory, look for something that has a smooth texture or simple shape

2. Introduce green thru a pattern.

Find a piece of clothing that as the color in it! The easiest way to do this is find a top/blouse with a pattern were green is the secondary color. That way it is not over powering but can still be paired with a neutral bottom or outerwear.

3. Just go all in with it!

Don’t be afraid to dive head in to the color green! You may think ‘I can never pull off all that color” or saying “I don’t look good in color, only black“. You will be surprise, when you find that PERFECT green and fall in love with it. Which is exactly what happened to me! I was skeptical about this green dress, but after trying it on, I was in LOVE.

These are just a few of my tips/tricks on how to add green to your wardrobe. Now go out and show the world how YOUR fall/winter is looking bright!
